I have been managing technology vendor relationships for over 25 years. In that time I have seen that vendors focus on what can be implemented, rather than what is worth implementing. As a trusted technology adviser I focus on helping you make profitable business decisions using technology. An implementation is only worth doing if it adds business value to your company. My background will help you use technology as a strategic tool in building or operating your business. This way your technology initiatives have the greatest chance of achieving the return on investment you deserve.
Background
My experience as a Technology Executive in the Capital District community began in 1981 but I was born in Brooklyn, NY. Currently, I reside in Colonie, NY. I am a graduate from Stuyvesant High School, NYC, with Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, and Economics from the University at Albany (SUNYA). I have earned a Masters in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Microsoft Small Business Specialist credential.
Prior to my current role, I have lead Business Development and Production in several area technology ventures including Advanced Idea Mechanic a computer manufacturer that graduated from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Incubator Program, Tricity Computing Magazine the regional technology trade magazine. I previously served as general manager of Microware Distributing Inc., a computer peripherals distribution and logistics services business which included Panasonic Office Automation products. Before that, I was the vice president and sales manager at Seeber Sales Corp., where I developed sales and marketing programs and led a team involved in implementing regional PC integration and distribution. I also held various positions in Windows marketing and was the local member of the original Windows Direct Distribution Program.
I am a member in several area and national professional and social organizations including the University at Albany and RPI Alumni Associations, MENSA, Guilderland Chamber of Commerce, and BNI Capital Connections.

Since founding Liberteks.com, a computer sales and service company based in Guilderland (Albany), NY, in 1991, I have lead our efforts to provide customers with a more secure computer and network platform.
I have managed Liberteks.com’s BEST PRACTICES strategy and the ongoing efforts to provide a more secure platform strengthened by security products, services and guidance to help keep customers safe, and I also led the GUIDANCE CENTER team and the INSTANTSUPPORT team. The GUIDANCE CENTER team focuses on satisfying the technology needs of computer novices, hobbyists and IT professionals. The INSTANTSUPPORT team works with small businesses in the Capital District to deliver improved business value through technology, helps protect customers via the INSTANTSUPPORT Client Response Center, and implements the BEST PRACTICE processes across the company. These both involve evaluating the small business landscape, listening to customer needs, building strong partnerships across the industry, and ensuring proper BEST PRACTICE guidance is shared with customers and the Tech Valley community.
Current Projects
Currently I focus on business analysis for software implementation and small business research. These projects typically lead to the managing of database administration projects as well as networking/systems administration. The secret sauce is over 25 years of vendor management that insures the implementation of projects that add real business value to your small business.
