It's with great pride that I'm announcing the 5th Annual smAlbany Small Business Day to be held on Tuesday, July 27 at the College of Nano Science and Engineering at the State University of Albany. I would encourage you to "save the date" to attend the event and tell your friends, business associates and coworkers.
The Albany Nano Complex is located at 255 Fuller Rd. in Albany, and we are very grateful to the staff at the State University of Albany who have assisted us in the development of this event.
smAlbany will feature a wide range of exhibits, workshops and individuals providing information and services for small businesses in our region. This year's theme is "Marketing Your Small Business with Social Media." smAlbany will also provide a jobs fair with executive recruiters and employers on hand to recruit throughout the day.
As we prepare for our fifth annual smAlbany Day, we're confident that this will be our biggest event yet. We're conducting a survey of small business leaders to gauge attitudes of the smAlbany economic climate. We're developing a number of seminars, with an emphasis on SEO, social media, the evolution of the traditional media, improving customer service and much more. Business owners will have the opportunity to meet and converse with fellow business associates.
