(Albany, NY) smAlbany 2013 will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2013 at The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering University at Albany, State University of New York at 255 Fuller Rd. in Albany from 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. A business breakfast and mixer will be featured from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Admission is Free.

The 7th annual smAlbany Business Expo and Social Media Conference, will feature presentations by local and regional businesses, and will be sponsored by The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering University at Albany, State University of New York, the Albany Times Union, Liberteks.com and SEO Web Mechanics.

“Additional speakers and exhibitors will be announced as we get closer to show time,” according to Darcy Knapp of SEO Web Mechanics, organizer of the event. “At smAlbany, admission is free to the public and the expo is dedicated to the growth of businesses located in the Capital Region.”

smAlbany is a small business expo and social media conference. smAlbany features exhibitors, informational workshops and a variety of speakers. Learn about the latest trends in technology, including mobile and cloud technology; how to use social media to grow your business; computer security and back up options; sampling and demonstrations and much more.

smAlbany will also provide opportunities for job seekers to interview with staffing agencies and firms with openings throughout the day. Resumes will be collected at registration and distributed to all employers with job openings.

Seminars will emphasize working with cloud computing, Google Platforms, Search Engine Optimization, mobile marketing, social media techniques, emerging technologies, reducing business costs, management and accounting, legal ramifications of the digital age, and more.
