I frequently refer to the growing number of business applications that can be obtained via the cloud, which can provide services for small businesses sometimes for free or generally at an affordable cost.
These often powerful applications can completely revolutionize the way you do business, and can significant increase your productivity and profitability. Moreover, I find that many of these products are truly scalable, so that they work with relative equal effect for one or for many users.
Whether it’s Flickr for photos or Dropbox for data, Pinterest for pinning or Vocus for media marketing, yada, yada, yada, there’s a growing number of services on the web that might not have previously been affordable for many small businesses. In the past, these were the type of apps (or, call them, enterprise solutions) that generally that big, highly capitalized businesses could afford.
Now these solutions are true open to everyone, especially in areas like reports, human resources, legal, marketing, etc.
